Pluto In Aquarius

In a way, it’s quite simple: Pluto is the planet of transformation, and Aquarius is the sign of progress. We better believe that, once Pluto transits through Aquarius, life as we know it will be a thing of the past.

When we say Pluto is the sign of transformation, we mean serious transformation. Not a simple change in how we look or who we hang out with, but a significant shift in our souls. He’s is the planet of death, but also of rebirth. Pluto is all about shedding our old identities and releasing perspectives that no longer serve us, to make space for something better. And THAT’S what makes this transit so impactful: Aquarius and Pluto are both about regeneration, and their combined energies have incredible power to advance humanity on a global scale.

Worldwide changes in science, technology, and space travel would not be surprising to see while Pluto is in Aquarius, but, more importantly, we’ll see profound shifts in civil rights and humanitarianism. The most powerful people will be those who work together and who value the lives, feelings, and experiences of others. Governments and systems that have worked against each other in the past can find common ground during this transit to forge new alliances for the future.

In our personal lives, Pluto in Aquarius urges us to transform our view of ourselves and our place in this world. It’s natural to think of what is best for ourselves and what will help us most in the future, but what if it was our first, natural instinct to think of what’s best for others and what will help us all most in the future? This is the change that Pluto in Aquarius wants to see in us. Will we answer the call?

Saturn In Aries

Saturn in Aries could be a time when we harness our inner power and achieve great things! When we use the best of what Saturn (discipline) and Aries (initiative) have to provide, we won't back down from going after we want. We'll work hard for as long as it takes, fueled by a sense of competition that makes us want to do bigger and better things.

Saturn in Aries could be a time when we become self-reliant. Maybe a little too self-reliant. The headstrong Aries energy combined with Saturn's determination could mean that we only want to do things our way. If we learn how to balance being independent with being cooperative, we'll find that we're more successful than when we ever could have been on our own.

We may also struggle with being assertive during this transit. Stern Saturn can put a damper on the confidence that we'd normally feel as a result of Aries' energy, so sticking up for ourselves may not come so easily during this time. But this is Saturn's lesson for us, so we need to make sure we voice our desires!

Moon In Taurus

Keep things in focus while the moon is in Taurus. Take advantage of the peace and chill. Your level-headed point of view will let you consider finances, relationships and longer-term projects with clarity. But don't get pig-headed! Pay attention to your outlook and don't get stubborn or lazy! Create some art or make a bold style move. During the Taurus moon, it's a great time to reach for that special thing you desire.

You might be feeling the need for comfort and security, but avoid being stubborn about it. Don't bite off more than you can chew, and know your limits.

Mars In Cancer

The voyage of Mars through Cancer gives us the opportunity to blend the fiery planet’s initiative with Cancerian concerns for preservation. We’ll want to spend this time carefully building things that honor and acknowledge our connection to the past and to family values. Our urge to move forward during this time doesn’t cut us off from familiar patterns, but includes them, to make for a more gentle and comfortable step into the future.

It’s true that Mars is toned down when it moves through sensitive Cancer, but that doesn’t mean we won’t get anything done. If we learn how to work with the Mars-in-Cancer energy, a great deal can be accomplished. Digging into domestic tasks is one of the best ways to use this transit. Mars in Cancer is a great opportunity to get out your hammer and nails so you can start (or finish) a home improvement project.

You may also feel a greater need to fight for the rights of a family member or a domestic situation during this time. Even though Mars in Cancer prefers using its energy to nurture, it will ultimately do whatever it takes to defend what and whom it cares about. As a result, you may notice that an intensely protective instinct takes over your actions when Mars and Cancer sync up.

The problem with Mars’ transit though cautious Cancer is that rather than taking a direct approach to going after what we want, we take a more passive one. If we don’t feel emotionally connected to something, it’s unlikely we’ll take action. Unfortunately, the action we do take is usually ruled by the heart, and may be more reactive and oversensitive than purposeful.

Jupiter In Leo

At its most innocent, Leo can be an incredibly fun and playful sign! Jupiter will thrive and have a strong, positive influence while it moves through expressive, creative Leo. This transit may bring out our inner artist and allow us to pursue the activities and interests that stimulate our spirits. We’ll throw ourselves into the things we love and feel a renewed appreciation for the things we’ve forgotten. This is an opportunity to find profound joys in all areas of our lives.

Intense and loyal, Leo is a fiercely loving sign that rules the heart, and while Jupiter is in Leo, our hearts have a chance to open up and grow to their maximum capacity. We’ll be able to be vulnerable and take chances in our love lives that we haven’t before. This energy isn’t just loving, it’s romantic! Jupiter in Leo is generous on a grand scale, and it’s quite possible that we’ll be swept off our feet during this time.

Leo is a passionate sign associated with bravery and expression, and Jupiter’s presence is known to amplify the traits of the sign it occupies. So when Jupiter is in Leo, we may find ourselves puffed up with courage and eager to fight for our values and beliefs. We’ll be willing and excited to make positive changes not only in our own lives but in the world at large. During this transit, we’ll be brimming with self-confidence, which will end up being both our driving force and our biggest character flaw.

Jupiter in Leo could be a time of excessive glorification of the ego. Pride in oneself is healthy, but boundless pride is a blinding light that darkens, rather than illuminates. Between Jupiter’s expansiveness and Leo’s love for leadership, there’s a likely chance that we become bossy and controlling. This can be a time of "bread and circuses," when meaningful questions are buried in the noise of spectacle. Peaceful inquiry and gentle conversation may not come easily when bombast rules.

The Sun In Virgo

Perfection is at an all-time high when the Sun is in meticulous Virgo!

This is a time when we'll say goodbye to the playful days of rambunctious Leo so that we can take life a bit more seriously. Sure, we'll all still be feeling the carefree summertime vibes, but the Virgo Sun shows us how to focus more on our work, our health, and how to make ourselves useful to society.

The Sun’s move into detail-oriented Virgo gives all of us a leg up on polishing our skills, getting organized, or doing any activities that require us to pay close attention. Get your work done. Then go for a run, get a deep tissue massage, and wind down with a good book and a glass of fine wine. Virgo is an Earth sign that values sensation and the best experiences in life.

Virgo doesn’t let anything go, which is a quality that is both invaluable and annoying. It’s great to have an eye for the smallest details, but if you’re double-checking someone else’s work, take it easy on them if you find fault, and you will, because the Sun is in Virgo!

Earthy Virgo finds comfort and security when surrounded by nature and wildlife, so get out to the country during the Virgo Sun. Such a serene setting will also calm Virgo’s overly anxious tendencies, and help you loosen up and relax. If you're staying around home, pick up a broom, a mop, and a new feather duster, because now is the perfect time to use that meticulous Virgo energy to get your home spotless.

Virgo can sometimes be too finicky, turning "perfect" into picky, which can be annoying and frustrating for others. Strive to loosen up a little and let a few things go. After all, not everything needs to be flawless. Sun in Virgo is an organized and practical period in which to get back to business after a few lighthearted months. It may not be all fun and games, but you will feel fantastic about how much you’ve accomplished.

Mercury In Virgo

Mercury’s move into Virgo begins a period when our minds are sharp, our speech becomes precise, and we’re able to communicate with others more efficiently. We aren’t interested in sugar-coating our words under this transit -- we want to cut through the clutter and get straight to the point.

Virgo is highly skilled at taking in tons of information and stripping out everything that’s not necessary. So while Mercury moves through Virgo, our power to analyze information becomes much stronger, which helps us communicate our thoughts in the clearest way possible.

Productivity is one of the biggest benefits of Mercury in Virgo. While it’s not the most fun transit, our opportunities to make real progress are huge. Instead of getting stuck in a trap of dead-end ideas or in conversations that seem to go in circles, we are intently focused on details and useful information, making this a time of great forward movement.

One thing we must be beware of during this transit is becoming hyper-critical. Discernment is a good thing, but during Mercury in Virgo we can be so focused on finding faults that we insult others or become frustrated by our own flaws. Refining the way we speak to others and conveying our opinions with tact is key with Mercury in this discriminating sign.
