Solar activity remained very low despite the emergence of a few pores in a minor active region (AR) located near N26E40. The small, north-south aligned bipolar field was weak and did not strengthen to a level that allowed for spot group development. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available coronagraph imagery.
The solar kp index is unsettled, with retrograde effects slightly enhanced. The solar wind speed is currently above average, making retrograde effects moderately increased.

The Solar System at a Glance
Solar wind parameters were indicative of a primarily slow, but slightly enhanced and disturbed regime. Total IMF strength varied from 3 to 7 nT and the Bz component underwent mostly weak deviations. Solar wind speed ranged primarily from 375-425 km/s and the phi angle indicated a predominantly negative sector.
There is a 25% chance of solar activity, with a 5% chance of a minor event, a 1% chance of a moderate event, and a 1% chance of a strong event.
