Solar activity was at very low levels. The solar disk was spotless. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available imagery.
Solar wind parameters were very slightly enhanced from ambient conditions. Solar wind speeds averaged 410 km/s. Total field ranged between 3-5 nT, and the Bz component underwent a prolonged, southward deflection of -4 nT near the end of the period. The phi angle was predominantly positive with brief deviations into a negative orientation.
