Solar activity was at low levels. Region 3361 (N24W12, Ekc/beta-delta) produced the strongest event of the period, a C4.2/Sf flare at 08/0144 UTC. With the exception of newly numbered Region 3367 (N10E15, Bxo/beta), only minor changes were observed in the remaining numbered active regions on the visible disk.

The solar kp index is quiet, with no changes to retrograde effects. The solar wind speed is currently above average, making retrograde effects moderately increased.

Solar wind parameters were near background levels over the period. Solar wind speeds were slightly elevated near the beginning of the UT day, but they decreased to between 400-450 km/s by the periods end. Total magnetic field strength varied from 4-6 nT. The Bz component reached as far south as -5 nT in the first hour of the day but rotated northward shortly after. Phi angle transitioned from variable to mostly positive after 08/0800 UTC.

There is a 30% chance of solar activity, with a 15% chance of a minor event, a 1% chance of a moderate event, and a 1% chance of a strong event.

Moon Is In Aries

Hold on to your telescopes and suspend your disbelief, my celestial voyagers, because the Moon has decided to take a little hop, skip, and a jump into the fiery realm of Aries! Our luna pal is currently 372,274.936870340km away, give or take a few hundred kilometers - you know, just in case she needs some personal space. Now, with the Moon in Aries, things are going to heat up. Not in a global-warming sort of way, more like a spicy-burrito-for-lunch type of situation. Aries, after all, is the first sign of the zodiac, the newborn, the "look-at-me-I'm-so-cute-and-also-a-fireball" of the astrological family. It’s like a baby dragon: adorable but can burn your house down if you don’t pay enough attention. So, expect emotions to be as volatile as a poorly built baking soda and vinegar volcano at a middle school science fair. Big feelings, big reactions, big... well, everything! And not just because I accidentally knocked over my telescope and broke my favorite mug. But fear not! Remember, my stargazing friends, the Universe doesn't throw anything at us that we can't handle (except maybe asteroids, but let's not go into that). Harness this Aries energy to start new projects, jumpstart your ambitions, and maybe finally tell your cat that no, he can't eat lasagna like Garfield. So keep your eyes on the stars, your feet on the ground, and maybe invest in a fire extinguisher. It’s gonna be a wild ride, folks! And remember: the cosmos, much like my wardrobe, is vast, mysterious, and full of questionable choices. But it’s also pretty rad, so let's enjoy the journey, one star at a time.

Mercury

Mercury Is In Cancer

Mercury in Cancer: A Galactic Love Affair

Greetings, celestial voyagers! Today, we find our tiny, speedy friend Mercury speeding its way into the cosmic embrace of Cancer. Now, I know what you're thinking - Mercury, that hot-headed, fast-talking, intellectual planet, getting all cozy with emotional, nurturing Cancer? Sounds like a plot for a new Star Trek episode!

But don't panic and engage the warp drive just yet. This cosmic meet-cute is actually a beautiful blend of heart and mind. Picture it like Spock undergoing a Vulcan mind-meld with a Tribble - it's deep, it's intimate, it's a tad bit confusing, but it's also incredibly meaningful.

During this transit, we're all going to be feeling a bit more Crab-like - and no, I don't mean growing pincers and developing a taste for seaweed. Our communication style will shift from 'data-driven Android' to 'warm-hearted Betazoid'. We'll express our love as freely as the Enterprise explores the galaxy, and protect our kin like a Klingon on a mission.

And remember, fellow stargazers, Cancer is the astrological Spock - all logic on the outside, but with a deep, intuitive understanding of emotions. So, while Mercury is doing its cosmic waltz through Cancer, don't forget to trust your intuition, your own internal tricorder, if you will. Those gut feelings are probably picking up on something 'highly illogical' but potentially life-changing.

So, during this transit, let's all take a page out of the Vulcan handbook: Listen not just to reply, but to understand. Let your heart act as your universal translator, deciphering the silent signals from those around you. Remember, even in the vast silence of space, the most profound conversations can occur. So, engage those communicators, trust your instincts and prepare for an emotional voyage of discovery!

And as Spock might say, "Live long, prosper, and keep your phasers set to love."

Venus

Venus is in Leo

Venus is prograde at 25 Leo 17' 42", moving at 0.45 degrees per day, and is 65577828km away and approaching.

Venus Is In Leo

Well, well, well, star gazers! Grab your lightsabers and buckle up because Venus is doing a Skywalker move and taking center stage in Leo. Now, imagine Venus as Luke, glowing brighter than a twin sunset on Tatooine and channeling the boldness of a Jedi. Just like when Luke blasted off from his home planet to join the Rebellion, Venus entering Leo means it's time for grand declarations of love. Picture yourself echoing Luke's famous, "I am a Jedi, like my father before me," but with love instead of Jedi. That's right, think along the lines of, "I am in love, like my heart before me." It's a time of big, universe-sized feelings, so don't be surprised if you end up shouting your affections from the rooftops—or maybe even the Millennium Falcon! But remember, padawans, with great power comes great responsibility. Just like Luke had to balance the force, you'll need to balance the attention between you and your loved ones. Don't let your inner Sith Lord take over and demand all the adoration for yourself. You're not the Emperor after all, are you? And what about those Galactic Credits (or, you know, regular money)? Well, Venus in Leo sees currency more like a Jedi views the force—a means to an end. It's not about hoarding wealth like Jabba the Hutt, but about spreading the love to those you care about. Think of it as treating your friends to a round at the Mos Eisley Cantina, or surprising your special someone with a trip on the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy. So, whether you're a Jedi, a Wookie, or just a regular human, Venus in Leo is a time to let your inner star shine. Remember, the Force is strong with this one. And by 'this one', I mean you. May the love be with you!

Mars

Mars is in Leo

Mars is prograde at 29 Leo 15' 27", moving at 0.61 degrees per day, and is 338064819km away and receding.

Mars Is In Leo

Mars Takes A Leap Into Leo: The Cosmic Karaoke Contest Begins!

Friends, stargazers, and fellow intergalactic hitchhikers, buckle up your asteroid belts because Mars - our cosmic hot-headed cousin - has just taken a cosmic leap into the grand amphitheater of Leo! And let me tell you, this celestial scene is more radiant than a supernova's Saturday night disco. It's like Mars has put on its favorite cosmic cowboy boots, grabbed the karaoke mic and is belting out "Don't Stop Believin'" at the top of its Martian lungs!

Now, Leo, our flamboyant feline friend, knows that life without a little razzle-dazzle is like a black hole - utterly void. So, with Mars sashaying through this fun-loving sign, we’re being nudged (or rather, dramatically pushed) not just to recognize the positive moments, but to choreograph some jazz hands into our daily routine.

But wait, there's more! Mars in Leo is also your VIP pass to follow your heart. Leo is the cosmic maestro of the heart, and during this transit, it's like we've all been given a backstage pass to the universe's greatest love concert. But remember, folks, in this grand cosmic play, overconfidence can turn our solo into a screeching cacophony. Leo may be a stellar performer, but if you want to be admired, you must earn your standing ovation. You can't simply rely on your sparkly sequin suit!

Enthusiasm spreads faster than a comet while Mars is in Leo, but so does drama. We become cosmic divas craving more attention, and boy oh boy, if we don't get it, we react like a supernova scorned. So, it's time to roar, folks, but remember, even in the cosmos, there's a thin line between expressing oneself and becoming the 'Darth Vader' of melodrama.

The biggest lesson here? Ego, my friends, can be both your rocket fuel and your asteroid collision. It's a fine art to balance the ego in the grand cosmic dance. So, while Mars pirouettes through Leo, take a moment to ponder - how do you want to shine in this vast, cosmic stage? Remember, every star has its unique glow.

Jupiter

Jupiter is in Taurus

Jupiter is prograde at 10 Tau 39' 17", moving at 0.16 degrees per day, and is 790188175km away and approaching.

Jupiter Is In Taurus

Well, hello star gazers, time travellers and cosmic connoisseurs! It's time to talk about the big guy in the sky - Jupiter. Yes, that's right, our jovial giant is taking a cosmic vacation in the realm of Taurus. Where? You might ask. Well, it's just 790267562.310481310km away! I promise, it's closer than it sounds. Now, when Taurus, the Zodiac's most relaxed and chill sign, decides to host Jupiter, the planet of wisdom, things are bound to get interesting. It's like Stephen Hawking decided to have a yoga retreat with the Buddha. Expect a lot of 'Om's' and 'E=mc²'. Jupiter's stay in Taurus is like a cosmic "clean up your room" order, but this isn't about dusting off your old textbooks or finally folding that pile of laundry. No, it's about sorting through your dreams and goals, making practical plans, and ticking things off one by one. Jupiter provides the ambition, Taurus supplies the perseverance, and you? Well, you just need to trust the process and get cracking! And oh boy, let's talk about prosperity! When Jupiter, the cosmic Santa Claus, hooks up with Taurus, the sugar daddy of the zodiac, things can get pretty... well, lucrative. So, grab your calculators and start crunching those numbers, because it’s time to take a hard look at your finances and find those hidden pots of gold. But remember, folks, Taurus knows how to indulge. And when Jupiter, the planet of expansion, comes into the picture, it's like having an all-you-can-eat buffet in front of a foodie. Remember to pace yourself, or else you might end up with a cosmic food coma. So, take a deep breath, be patient, and try not to blow up your credit cards. So, in conclusion, when Jupiter is in Taurus, it's time to be practical, ambitious, and a little bit careful with your spending. Oh, and don’t forget to enjoy the journey. After all, it's not every day that you get to see a celestial giant chilling in the realm of the Bull. Happy stargazing!

Saturn

Saturn is retrograde at 06 Pis 50' 08", moving backwards at 0.03 degrees per day, and is 1361659574km away and approaching.

Saturn in Pisces: A Cranky Cosmic Coach

Alright, stargazers, it's time to tackle the big daddy of the solar system: Saturn. Currently on a retrograde trip through Pisces, this planet is approximately 1,361,725,990.66km away. But don't let the distance fool you, Saturn's influence is about as subtle as a supernova at a silent disco.

Now, Saturn in Pisces, it's like Sheldon Cooper at a Phish concert. An odd combination, no doubt, but there's potential for some unexpected enlightenment. This celestial combo will have you scrutinizing your dreams under a microscope, challenging you to turn your "pie in the sky" into a down-to-earth reality. So, pull out your vision boards, and prepare for an astrology-infused version of Shark Tank.

But beware, Saturn doesn't play nice. He's a bit like that annoyingly practical friend who points out the flaws in your grand schemes. Feeling defensive? Temperamental? Wanting to hang a 'Do Not Disturb' sign on your aura? Well, too bad. Saturn has a master key to every door, and he's not afraid to use it. So, rather than sulking, try seeing this as a cosmic intervention. Saturn might be the grumpy old man of the universe, but he's got wisdom to share if you're willing to listen.

And here's the nerdy part. With Saturn's energy focused in Pisces, the dreamy realm of sleep, don't be surprised if your snooze button gets a workout. You might experience everything from restless nights to vivid dreams worthy of a Spielberg movie. So, embrace your inner hippie; meditate, take long walks among the trees, practice deep breathing. Heck, even take a nap! Just remember to keep a dream journal handy. Who knows, your dream about that inter-galactic circus might just be the next big thing!

So, brace yourselves, star children. Saturn in Pisces is about to give us a cosmic crash course in turning dreams into reality. May the force (or at least, the gravitational pull) be with you!

Uranus

Uranus is in Taurus

Uranus is prograde at 22 Tau 02' 32", moving at 0.04 degrees per day, and is 3023348322km away and approaching.

Uranus Is In Taurus

Well, smegheads, Uranus is in Taurus and it's not about to ask for your permission before upending your little universe. You might as well buckle up, buttercup, because Uranus doesn’t care if you’ve got your seatbelt on or not; this ride is happening one way or another. You know Taurus, right? Solid, reliable, a bit of a stick-in-the-mud. Prefers the same breakfast cereal every morning and still uses a Nokia 3310 because "it does the job." Well, Uranus is about to take that Nokia and swap it for an iPhone 12 with all the bells and whistles. Oh, and did I mention money? Taureans love their money. They're like Scrooge McDuck swimming in their gold coins. But hold onto your wallets, because Uranus is about to stage a revolution. We're talking new currencies, banking changes, and potential stock market shake-ups. It's like playing Monopoly with someone who keeps changing the rules. On a personal note, while you're clutching your pearls (or your Bitcoin), Uranus is here to give you a planetary intervention. Are you drowning in debt, suffocated by taxes, or being strangled by your mortgage? Well, you can thank Uranus in Taurus for shaking you out of your financial rut and forcing you to reevaluate your relationship with money and material possessions. So, embrace your inner hippie, let go of your materialistic tendencies, and get ready for some serious change. Yes, it might be as comfortable as a kick in the asteroids, but in the end, it'll help you reach a new level of stability. And remember, resisting is futile. This is Uranus we’re talking about – it's basically the Honey Badger of the solar system. It just doesn't give a smeg. Change is coming. So, put on your tin foil hat, and remember, the best way to predict the future is to invent it. And Uranus, my friends, is about to invent a doozy.

Neptune

Neptune Is In Pisces

Hello there, cosmic voyagers! So the big news in the starry world is that Neptune, our favorite mysterious blue ball of gas, is currently doing the interstellar cha-cha in the sign of Pisces, and in retrograde too! It's like Neptune decided to salsa dance backwards in water shoes. Quirky? Yup. Confusing? Absolutely. Important for you? Heck yeah! Now, let me break it down for you, space cowboy style. When Neptune and Pisces decide to have a celestial meet-up, it's kind of like Spock meeting Yoda for a heart-to-heart. Pisces brings all the feelies to the table, while Neptune, in its gassy glory, aims to unify everything. Suddenly, the fog of the cosmos parts, and we see clearly just how ridiculous it is to squabble over who took the last donut or why our neighbor's lawn gnome is facing our house. Instead, we see the pure gold in togetherness, and the path to unity lights up like a neon sign at a Vegas casino. This starry tango is basically calling us to examine our own cosmic toolkits. What can we bring to this galactic potluck of progress and healing? Maybe you make a mean vegan lasagna, or can crochet like nobody's business. Whatever your unique offering might be, now’s the time to whip it out. It’s also a stellar moment to explore that spiritual path you've been curious about. Been thinking about joining that local coven? Or maybe setting up a sacred space in your home for meditation? Go for it! Your favorite nerdy astrologer supports you. Remember, Neptune in Pisces is here to remind us that even though it's 4,422,039,232.101725578 km away (give or take a few km), its energy is here to help us share our weird, wonderful ideas with the world. So let's get to it, space cadets! We've got a universe to unite!

Pluto In Capricorn: The Astrological Cha-Cha-Cha

Prepare to be gobsmacked, stargazers! Pluto, the tiny celestial underdog who refuses to be categorized (Is it a planet? A dwarf planet? A space potato?), has shimmied its way into Capricorn. Now, you might be thinking, "Hang on a minute, isn't that like 5 billion kilometers away?" Why yes, my astute friend, yes it is. But in the cosmic tango that is astrology, distance is just a number.

Here's the lowdown: both Pluto and Capricorn are a bit like that high-achieving cousin of yours who casually runs marathons and bakes their own sourdough. They're all about success and power, with a laser-like focus that would make a Jedi Knight jealous. The downside? They can be as uncompromising as a grumpy cat meme. Beware, my friends, of getting so caught up in your own viewpoints that you start treating other ideas like they're as welcome as pineapple on pizza.

But here's the groovy part. Pluto, in its retrograde boogie, is like a cosmic Marie Kondo, encouraging us to chuck out anything that doesn't 'spark joy' (or at least, doesn’t work for us anymore). Yes, this might mean a bit of destruction, but remember - even the most epic sandcastle has to crumble before it can be rebuilt into a magnificent beach fortress. So, be mindful about what you obliterate in your quest for creation.

In short, while Pluto's dance in Capricorn might feel like trying to solve Schrödinger's cat conundrum while riding a unicycle, remember: the universe always has a groovy tune playing. So, tie-dye your spirit, dust off your moon boots, and let's cha-cha-cha to the cosmic beat!

Mercury

Mercury Trine Neptune

Today is a day for wishing upon a star and imagining that your most heartfelt dreams can and will come true. Idealism is high and you are both inspirational and imaginative. Your visualization powers are effective and strong. Somehow, you just know things today. Trust your intuition. Do some spiritual study. Listen to some inspirational and uplifting music. You are creative, perceptive, and imaginative. You draw heavily on your imagination and intuition to come to conclusions and make decisions. You easily sense the thoughts and feelings of others, and you are adaptable in your communications as you pay attention to how your words are received. You express yourself with subtle flair, sensitivity, and perhaps some charming quirkiness. You have an appreciation, and perhaps talent, for photography, the arts, poetry, fiction, spirituality, advertising, and promotion. You are naturally open to metaphysical or spiritual concepts. You might believe in things that others discard, and some with this position at least seem a little naive or childlike. Many of you have psychic ability, or at least very good hunches. The trine aspect is the more dynamic of the two harmonious aspects. Those with the sextile can call upon these traits when needed, and those with the trine between the Mercury and Neptune have incorporated the traits of the aspect into their personalities, expressing them naturally and consistently. Some Famous People with Mercury in Harmonious Aspect to Neptune: Sextiles – Brad Pitt, Fred Astaire, Drew Barrymore, John Cleese; Trines – Vanessa Redgrave, Michael J. Fox, Tammy Wynette, Oscar Wilde, Shirley Temple Black, Robb Thomas, Mia Farrow, Meryl Streep.

Mercury

Mercury Opposite Pluto

You may experience verbal boxing matches today along with a test of wills. Propaganda may be spread that just isn't true. Don't bully people into seeing the rightness of your cause. Be tolerant of others' viewpoints. Remember, you're not always right. You are so perceptive and you dig so deep for answers that you can be your own worst enemy. As a result, you might find ulterior motives or dark intent where there is none, and your suspicious, provocative attitude can cause some problems in your personal life, particularly if it reaches the level of paranoia. Not many people enjoy being second-guessed all the time, yet that is something that you are inclined to do, and a tendency that should be kept in check in your dealings with others. However, your determination to get to the bottom of any matter, to rip away falsehoods and expose true motives, can be used for good if you employ it in your work, for example, which can involve investigation and research, psychology, or revealing and perhaps dark creative arts. You can be insatiably curious about all that is hidden, taboo, repressed, or secret. You have a great love of debate, but should be careful that you don’t overpower others with your strong opinions, attempting to “convert” them to your frame of mind, or treat regular debate or exchanges of opinion as battlegrounds. Many of you do learn to harness your intense mental energy and apply it productively. You are capable of very hard work and effort.Interpretation sample from the In-Depth Profile report — You are bright and insightful but the very strength and depth of your vision can mislead you. In consequence, you get in your own way a lot. The magnitude of a project can intimidate you so that you don’t even embark on it. You are a perfectionist and compulsive. You fear being judged by others as inadequate and this quality has you afraid to act. Of course, you do overcome this many times in your day to day life, but it goes smoother for you when you stop attributing negative motives to those around you. You are able to do this when you feel better about yourself. Periods of meditation and contemplation are necessary to get to know yourself. Some Famous People with the Mercury in Hard Aspect to Pluto: Squares – Hank Williams, Brigitte Bardot, Bjork, Bo Derek, Cloris Leachman, George Lucas, Mickey Rooney, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Lee Iacocca, D. H. Lawrence; Oppositions – Oprah Winfrey, Boris Yeltsin, Elvis Presley, Shaquille O’Neal, Kurt Cobain.

Venus

Venus Conjunct Mars

There is a desire for love, beauty, relationships, and things that feel good. Desire is strong today and this includes the desire for the opposite sex. Be considerate of others today as you may express yourself too strongly. Use your creative energies and get involved with the arts, music or the theater. How about making a special meal for your significant other? Watch your spending today as you may feel tempted to overindulge and be too extravagant. Curb your potential for eating too much rich, sweet, or spicy food. Moderation is the key. Be refined and charming around women. Do not get involved in petty gossip or in competition with the women you know. Have fun at a social gathering, but remember, don't come on too strong or let your opinion of yourself swell so as to become overbearing and obnoxious. For people with a Venus-Mars conjunction in their natal charts, the blending of the feminine and masculine energies within is a natural process, although other aspects to the conjunction will tell the whole story as to how this is done. These people possess personal magnetism in spades. They live and breathe romantic/sexual relationships. It is generally easy for them to form relationships, unless the conjunction is severely afflicted. They ooze sexuality, and they are generally quite impulsive with regards to entering new relationships. Relationships are not only important to them, they require a fair amount of excitement, adventure, and passion in their pairings in order to feel alive and vital. With this conjunction, there is generally a pleasing blend of self-assertion and cooperation. This comprises some of their charm, in that they generally know how to assert themselves without stepping on others’ toes. In some cases, men with this aspect may be too dominating in romantic situations, and might gain a reputation for being “macho”. This is not always the case, however. For the most part, these people are quite direct about what they want in a relationship, and they are quite passionate when it comes to going about getting what they want. It can be a challenge maintaining perspective when it comes to relationships. These people are generally highly creative and are bent on finding outlets for their creativity. Their vitality and warm energy is something that can be felt by others, as if it lies just below the surface. Some Famous People with Venus conjunct Mars: Barry Bonds (in Gemini), Carmen Electra (in Gemini), Bette Davis, James Caan (in Taurus, also conjunct Uranus), Sally Field, Eva Gabor (in Pisces), Merv Griffin (in Leo), Kris Kristofferson (in Gemini), Bruce Lee (in Scorpio), Courtney Love (in Gemini), Peter O’Toole, Al Pacino (in Gemini), Stefanie Powers (in Scorpio), Sting, Uma Thurman (in Gemini), Vincent Van Gogh (in Pisces), Harry Hamlin (in Virgo), Sandra Bullock (in Gemini, conjunct the Ascendant).

Notes about Transits

Mars is all about action, and where Mars is in our chart with transits is a place where we are prepared to stand our ground. Mars transits can be really productive, but they can also be angsty, aggressive, and sometimes come from a place of anger. It's important to pay attention to how you direct that energy. Mars transits can last for up to a couple weeks.
Jupiter transits enhance your life with optimism and forward-thinking, and lasting for about a month, give you plenty of time to take advantage. Bigger and better is Jupiter's way of thinking, and should be yours as well.
Saturn transits, on the other hand, are where we get a major reality check, and if we’re not ready for them, they can be pretty rotten. Of course, if we’re prepared and up to the task, Saturn transits can also bring very well-deserved rewards, too. Saturn transits last a bit longer than Jupiter transits—usually 2 months or so at a time, but with retrograde cycles, you could be looking at the same lessons three times over a 6 month period.
The outer planets, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto last for such a long time that they make long-lasting impacts on our lives. In fact, Neptune and Pluto can last for two to three years! Consider their effects, plan accordingly, and make them part of your life for the better.
