The Sun

Solar activity reached moderate levels (R1-minor) due several M-class flares. The largest was a slow-rising and lengthy M-class event from Region 3323 (S05E68, Dao/beta). The flare began at 31/2147 UTC and despite stalling briefly in its progression, eventually peaked as an M4.3 flare at 31/2252 UTC. Region 3319 (S19W27, Dhi, beta-gamma-delta) also produced an M1 flare at 31/1226 UTC. Region 3315 (S17W58, Dko/beta-delta) remains large and complex but relatively inactive. The other 7 regions were either stable or in decay. CMEs were noted off the west and north limbs, but none are expected to be Earth-directed.

The solar kp index is quiet, with no changes to retrograde effects. The solar wind speed is currently above average, making retrograde effects moderately increased.

Analysis of solar wind data provided by NOAAs DSCOVR satellite reveals a minor disturbance of unknown origin propagating through the solar wind. Field strength peaked at 9 nT and Bz underwent periodic southward deviations, some of which were in excess of -5 nT. Wind speeds were generally steady, averaging around 390 km/s. The phi angle was oriented towards the Sun (negative) for most of the day, but became more variable by days end.

There is a 15% chance of solar activity, with a 1% chance of a minor event, a 1% chance of a moderate event, and a 1% chance of a strong event.

Moon Is In Scorpio

Greetings, celestial enthusiasts and stargazers! Gather 'round, because I've got a cosmic forecast that's hotter than a supernova and cooler than an ice cream cone on Pluto. That's right, my fellow star children, the Moon is currently hanging out in Scorpio, and it's approximately 383,817.862765728km away! But don't worry, you won't need a telescope or TARDIS to feel its groovy vibes. Now, when the Moon decides to rendezvous with the enigmatic Scorpio, you better believe that things are about to get more intense than a heated debate between Sheldon Cooper and Spock. This cosmic connection has a tendency to bring out our deepest emotions, hidden desires, and those secret thoughts that we usually keep locked away in the Pandora's Box of our minds. But fear not, my interstellar comrades, for this lunar journey into the heart of darkness can be a transformative experience, like turning lead into gold or converting a skeptic into a true believer of the power of crystals. So, embrace the mysterious depths of your soul and remember, even in the darkest of times, you've got the power of the cosmos on your side - well, at least 383,817.862765728km away, give or take. During this lunar sojourn, don't be surprised if your intuition is sharper than a Vulcan's ears or if you find yourself uncovering hidden truths like Sherlock Holmes on Red Bull. Just remember to keep it cool, my cosmic cats, and channel that inner Jedi calmness, because emotions may run high, and no one wants a repeat of that time Mars went retrograde and everyone started arguing about the best way to fold a fitted sheet. In conclusion, buckle up for a wild ride through the emotional rollercoaster that is the Moon in Scorpio, but don't forget to appreciate the beauty of the cosmos and the infinite possibilities it presents. And hey, if things get too intense, just remember that even the darkest night has a dawn, and there's always another cosmic adventure just around the corner. Peace, love, and may the force be with you!

Mercury Is In Taurus

Greetings, cosmic comrades! Gather 'round and lend me your antennae, for I have some groovy news from the celestial dance floor. Mercury, our celestial DJ, has sauntered into the realm of Taurus, that down-to-earth, "give me some space" sign we all know and love. Strap in, my starry-eyed friends, because we're about to get nerdy and hippie-dippie at the same time! Now, Mercury is currently a whopping 130,337,693.878545046km away (but who's counting?) and it's rockin' the prograde like there's no tomorrow. As our planetary maestro of mind-melding and chit-chat, Mercury's Taurus tango is about to bring some real changes to our cerebral circus. When Mercury and Taurus join forces, imagination takes a vacay, and wishful thinking, well, that's so last season. Instead, we get blessed with the gift of stability—like a cosmic bean bag chair for our brain waves. No more floating aimlessly through the galaxy of ideas; it's time to put those thoughts in hyperdrive and turn them into concrete plans. Taurus, being the pragmatic party animal it is, helps us slow our roll, allowing us to create solid foundations for our future. Think of it as the universe's way of saying, "Hey, slow down, take a breath, and let's make this happen." So, my astro-enthusiasts, what does this mean for you? It's time to channel your inner Battlestar Galactica Starbuck, grab a cup of cosmic coffee, and strategize your way to success. With Mercury in Taurus, you'll find that practicality is not only your new best friend but also the key to unlocking your dreams. Remember, fellow space cadets, the stars may guide us, but it's up to us to ride those cosmic waves and make the most of their celestial wisdom. So, go forth and let your interstellar intuition lead you on a journey that's out of this world! And as they say in the cosmos, "May the Mercury-Taurus force be with you." Peace, love, and star stuff!

Venus In Cancer: A Nerdy, Hippie Astrologer's Take

What do you get when Venus, the planet of all things lovey-dovey, cozies up with Cancer, the zodiac's most nurturing crab? Well, buckle up, space cadets, because things are about to get extra cuddly in the celestial sphere!

Venus, currently a whopping 110,083,968.020330414km away (give or take a few cosmic breadcrumbs), has decided to go all prograde and throw a little party in Cancer's corner. This means we're in for a major love fest, folks! So, if your love life has been more like Pluto lately (cold and distant), expect some major changes.

During this time, your inner hippie will burst forth, and you'll feel a strong urge to care for others, man. Family vibes and feeling connected to your roots will be groovier than ever. So why not make your pad a true sanctuary? Decorate your room with some psychedelic tapestries, or invest in that beanbag chair you've always wanted. Heck, maybe it's even time to buy or sell some real estate – after all, Venus and Cancer have got your back on that front.

But beware, my starry-eyed friends! This cosmic combo might also leave you feeling moodier than a teenager in a sci-fi movie who just discovered they have telekinetic powers. Your friendships and romantic relationships could be like navigating a minefield of emotions, so tread lightly.

Cancer's natural instinct is to retreat into its shell when faced with emotional turmoil, but don't worry – there's an upside to this vulnerability. With your heart wide open like the doors of a spaceship, you'll attract and give love more easily than ever before.

So, as Venus sojourns through Cancer, embrace the opportunity for greater intimacy, nurture your relationships, and maybe even indulge in a little retail therapy to spruce up your cosmic crib. And remember: Keep it groovy, folks!

Mars Is In Leo

Greetings, fellow space travelers! As Captain Jean-Luc Picard of the starship Enterprise, I must share this crucial astrological update with you. It appears that Mars, the red planet of passion and action, has found itself in the fiery, theatrical sign of Leo! Engage! 🚀 At 299,443,500.469736040 km away, Mars is boldly going where... well, it's been before, actually. But this time, it's got a little something extra in its cosmic pocket! Mars in Leo reminds us that we should be living life like a holodeck adventure – full of excitement, joy, and perhaps a little Klingon opera. After all, "All the world's a stage, and all the men and women merely players," as Shakespeare would say. Or was that Data in his latest poetry recital? 🤖 Mars in Leo encourages us to follow the beat of our own hearts, much like I do when I boldly go where no one has gone before. Allow your inner lion to lead you towards the things that set your soul ablaze! Warp speed ahead to creativity and enthusiasm. 🦁 However, be cautious not to let your ego run amok like a rogue Borg drone. Confidence is key, but overconfidence can lead to trouble faster than a surprise Romulan attack. We must strive to be admirable, respectable leaders – just like yours truly, Captain Picard. 💫 As Mars traverses through Leo, enthusiasm may spread like a Tribble infestation, but so can drama. Craving attention is natural, but remember to keep your phasers set on "stun" rather than "disintegrate." We don't want any unnecessary conflicts with our fellow crew members. 🌟 So, my friends, as we venture forth into the great unknown, let us reflect on the role of ego in our lives. May we find balance and harmony, just like the United Federation of Planets. Live long and prosper – or should I say, make it so! 🖖

Jupiter In Taurus: A Timey-Wimey, Wibbly-Wobbly Cosmic Adventure

Good day, my fellow stargazers! Have I got some interstellar news for you! Jupiter, our solar system's largest and most jovial planet, is currently hanging out in the Earthy, luxurious Taurus. Now, I know what you're thinking - "What does this mean for me, oh wise, nerdy astrologer?" Well, buckle up your TARDIS seatbelts, because we're about to embark on a cosmic journey of wisdom, indulgence, and perhaps a smidgen of self-control.

As the planet of wisdom, Jupiter encourages us to dive deep into the swirling vortexes of our thoughts, while Taurus, the zodiac's most delightfully inert sign, reminds us that the answers to life's greatest questions are often found lounging within our own souls. So, grab your sonic screwdriver and let's tap into that hidden wellspring of knowledge just waiting to be unearthed!

When Jupiter and Taurus join forces, it's like the ultimate team-up of Doctor Who and Sherlock Holmes, inspiring us to make calculated moves towards our dreams and long-term goals. With Jupiter's boundless energy and Taurus' persistence, we'll be ticking off those to-do lists faster than you can say "Geronimo!"

But wait, there's more! This cosmic alliance also brings with it a tidal wave of prosperity. With Jupiter being the planet of good fortune and Taurus representing wealth, you might just find yourself swimming in a sea of dollar signs. It's the perfect time to take a long, hard look at your finances and find ways to stimulate growth - after all, who doesn't want to build their very own money-bin like Scrooge McDuck?

Now, before you go gallivanting off into the sunset with your newfound wisdom and potential riches, a word of caution: Taurus is known for its love of indulgence, and when paired with Jupiter's expansive nature, we may find ourselves struggling to distinguish between needs and wants. Remember, my intergalactic friends, with great cosmic power comes great responsibility. So, while it's perfectly fine to treat yourself to the occasional jelly baby or two, be mindful of your impulses and practice patience during this transit.

So there you have it! As Jupiter continues its prograde

Saturn in Pisces: Cosmic Dad's Wild Ride

Greetings, space cowboys and cowgirls! Our quirky cosmic BFF Saturn is currently chillin' in Pisces, a mere 1,448,390,471.167233467km away. It's like, "Hey, I'm just here to help you align your chakras and manifest your dreams, man." So, buckle up, because we're about to embark on a celestial journey of self-discovery and daydream wrangling.

Picture this: Saturn in Pisces is like a nerdy, hippie life coach who wants nothing more than to help you write that sci-fi novel or open your very own vegan bakery. All you gotta do is clear your mind, channel those far-out vibes, and ask the universe, "What's next, dude?" Then, grab a pen and paper because the cosmic wisdom is about to flow like a river... a River Tam, if you will.

Now, I'm not gonna lie, having Saturn in Pisces can feel a bit like having your favorite imaginary friend come to life and start questioning your every move. You might want to put up a "No Trespassing" sign on your daydreams' door, but trust me, Saturn ain't gonna take that hint. Instead, embrace the celestial dad vibes and let Saturn help you tidy up those dreams and turn them into reality.

While Saturn and Pisces get busy helping us turn our dreams into reality, we might find ourselves feeling a bit restless and struggling to catch some Z's. Fear not, my interstellar friends! This is just the universe telling you it's time to find your inner zen. Meditate, frolic through the forest, practice deep breathing, or take a power nap (but don't forget that dream journal!). Heck, you might even want to hit the hay a little early to give your brain time to unwind and recharge.

So, fellow space travelers, let's embrace Saturn in Pisces as our cosmic life coach, guiding us through the wild and wonderful world of dreams, plans, and everything in between. Remember, when we listen to what the stars have to say, the universe becomes our playground. Peace, love, and stardust! ✌️🌌

Uranus Is In Taurus

Greetings, fellow Earthlings and stardust enthusiasts! Today, we're diving into the cosmic conundrum of Uranus in Taurus, a celestial shake-up that would have even Arthur Dent reaching for his trusty towel. So grab your Pan Galactic Gargle Blasters, and let's get nerdy! As Uranus waltzes into Taurus, it's like a Vogon constructor fleet bulldozing its way through the tranquil, stubborn pastures of the Bull. Taurus, being a creature of habit and lover of all things stable, is understandably a tad miffed by this sudden upheaval. But, as we all know, resistance is often futile (and not to mention a waste of perfectly good tea). Uranus, that cheeky bringer of change, is here to revolutionize our relationship with money, material possessions, and the status quo. Over the next seven years, we might see currencies transform faster than a Nutri-Matic Drinks Dispenser can whip up a concoction that's "almost, but not quite, entirely unlike tea." Banks could morph into something as unrecognizable as a two-headed, three-armed ex-hippie president of the galaxy, and the housing and stock markets may feel like they've hitched a ride on the Infinite Improbability Drive. On a personal level, Uranus in Taurus is like a cosmic Marvin the Paranoid Android, nudging us to break free from the cold, metal grips of financial constraints and materialistic chains. This celestial shake-up will have you questioning whether your hoarded collection of designer towels is truly the key to happiness or just a cosmic joke. So how do we navigate this astrological improbability? Don't panic! Embrace the changes, and remember that sometimes a little cosmic chaos can lead to greater stability, much like that moment when you realize your babel fish is working properly, and you can finally understand the Vogons' horrendous poetry. The key takeaway, dear stargazers, is to open yourself up to Uranus' liberating energy in Taurus. Resisting will only make the ride rougher, like trying to read a Vogon's mind with a faulty Joo Janta 200 Super-Chromatic Peril Sensitive Sunglasses. Instead, strap in for the journey, and who knows? You might just find yourself in a much better place at the end of it all. And maybe, just maybe, you'll discover that the meaning of life isn't 42 after all.

Pluto in Aquarius: A Retrograde Voyage to the Final Frontier

Greetings, earthlings! It's time to engage your warp drives and set a course for transformation, as we embark on a cosmic journey with our distant celestial friend, Pluto, who's currently chilling in the progressive sign of Aquarius. And guess what? It's retrograde, too! So buckle up, because things are about to get a little...wibbly-wobbly, timey-wimey.

Now, let's talk science! Pluto, that lovable dwarf planet that's a whopping 5,103,409,812.637143135 km away, is all about shedding old identities faster than you can say "Beam me up, Scotty!" And Aquarius? Well, they're the trailblazers of the zodiac, boldly going where no one has gone before. Put these two space cadets together, and we've got ourselves a cosmic cocktail of change, regeneration, and an epic quest for a more enlightened future.

So, what can we expect on this interstellar adventure? For starters, breakthroughs in science, technology, and space travel that would make Seven of Nine raise an eyebrow. But it doesn't stop there, dear stargazers! We'll also witness powerful shifts in civil rights and humanitarianism, as we join forces like a bunch of Captain Planet-wielding superheroes to create a better world for all.

As we traverse these astral currents, Pluto in Aquarius is sending us a subspace communication: it's time to transform our view of ourselves and our place in this vast universe. Sure, we all want to live long and prosper, but what if we could also help others do the same? This celestial mashup urges us to think beyond our personal starships and consider the needs of the entire galactic federation.

So, are you ready to answer the call and explore strange new worlds of empathy, compassion, and unity? If so, then prepare for warp speed, because Pluto in Aquarius is here to shake things up and take us on a journey to a more enlightened existence. May the force be with you, fellow space travelers!

The Sun

The Sun

Sun Square Saturn

You may become involved in conflicts between your need for self-expression and your duties to others. The key is to find a balance. You may tend to be selfish today and many problems can be alleviated by thinking of others first. A feeling of loneliness may come upon you today, but it's probably just that, a feeling. It's not the true state of things. Do your duty, meet your obligations, then you have every right to start thinking of yourself. Those people born under a challenging aspect between the Sun and Saturn face a fair number of challenges in their lives, especially in the first half of life, in which their attempts to express their will are thwarted. There can be a persistent feeling that they don’t get what they want more often than other people around them. They can feel unlucky. Attempts to control their environment, and sometimes others, may be frequent. These people fear their own feelings of inadequacy! They want to be considered accomplished and important people, and when they face obstacles, they don’t always want to believe that they are their own worst enemy. They long to be considered important in the eyes of the world, yet they harbor fear of success at the same time. They take failures and minor setbacks to heart, and some practically beat themselves up over them. Self-awareness to the point of real self-consciousness is characteristic of Sun-Saturn challenging aspects. The truth is, nobody holds a microscope over them, except for themselves. A little setback or a faux pas needn’t be analyzed to death. Fingers needn’t be pointed. No, they didn’t make a spectacle of themselves when they made a mistake. They need to stop worrying about always being right, or appearing suave and accomplished. When they ease the pressure they put on themselves, they find that they don’t face as many brick walls. It is very much about what they feel they deserve. Deep down inside, if they let themselves truly believe that they deserve happiness and peace of mind, they will find it.When Saturn is closely connected to a personal planet, there is usually an effect of censoring going on with whatever is ruled by the planet it joins by aspect. For example, with the Moon, which rules emotions, the natives feel the need to censor their emotions and feelings, scanning them for what is thought to be frivolous. With Saturn and the Sun, there is much self-censoring going on. “I shouldn’t..” is a common censoring mechanism with these people. They feel they shouldn’t want too much. When they express egotism of any form, some part of them feels guilty. As the Sun rules our conscious mind, it does enough censoring on its own. It is the “adult” within us. Saturn, on the other hand, is more like the “parent” within us. We need parents to guide us when we are children, and to some degree as adults, but for the most part, we don’t need to be censored indefinitely–something that seems to be the case with Saturn-Sun hard aspects, except that the censoring and parenting is coming from within.Ideally, these people eventually learn that the standards they set for themselves are too high, and that may be the reason they seem to hit brick walls. They recognize that many of the restrictions they face in life are often self-created, born of a defeatist attitude. They should be aware of the tendency to choose the hardest paths to travel and/or to deny themselves some of life’s pleasures. Working on recognizing and managing these tendencies will help them to avoid the pitfalls of this combination. These people have a sarcastic sense of humor, a keen intelligence, and the ability to apply caution and strategy. The vitality may suffer, and troubles with the bones, teeth, and circulation may surface. Some Famous People with Sun in Hard Aspect to Saturn: Squares – Harry Belafonte, Wynonna Judd (Sun square Saturn, Uranus, and Pluto), Salvador Dali, Marilyn Manson, Oprah Winfrey, Salvador Dali, Virginia Woolf, Ben Stiller, Alec Guiness. Oppositions – Jim Morrison, Charlie Sheen, Kurt Russell.

Notes about Transits

Mars is all about action, and where Mars is in our chart with transits is a place where we are prepared to stand our ground. Mars transits can be really productive, but they can also be angsty, aggressive, and sometimes come from a place of anger. It's important to pay attention to how you direct that energy. Mars transits can last for up to a couple weeks.
Jupiter transits enhance your life with optimism and forward-thinking, and lasting for about a month, give you plenty of time to take advantage. Bigger and better is Jupiter's way of thinking, and should be yours as well.
Saturn transits, on the other hand, are where we get a major reality check, and if we’re not ready for them, they can be pretty rotten. Of course, if we’re prepared and up to the task, Saturn transits can also bring very well-deserved rewards, too. Saturn transits last a bit longer than Jupiter transits—usually 2 months or so at a time, but with retrograde cycles, you could be looking at the same lessons three times over a 6 month period.
The outer planets, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto last for such a long time that they make long-lasting impacts on our lives. In fact, Neptune and Pluto can last for two to three years! Consider their effects, plan accordingly, and make them part of your life for the better.
